Manual installation

  1. Download and install Adobe AIR.
  2. Then download and install Peaya Paper.

System requirements

This program can be installed on PC, Mac, or Linux. It works better on a fast computer with fast network connection. Specifically,

Transparency Support for the search window requires a compositing window manager and additional X server extensions. The following are supported: Compositing window managers: Beryl, Compiz, Compiz-fusion X server extensions: Composite, Render, Shape
Flash Player Express installation require Flash Player 10.0.15.3

Other requirements

  • Fast internet connection (T1, cable or DSL) except when you work offline.
  • Acrobat reader 8.1 or newer (Free Download). If you don't have Acrobat reader 8.1 or newer installed, Peaya Paper will open PDF using your web browser.
  • You need to have administrator privilege of this computer to install.

Known issues

  • You may find this program runs slowly if your computer has slow CPU, low memory and/or slow network connection.

When error occurs ...

If you encouter an error during installation, please contact us.

Common problems:

  • On Linux: If double-clicking on PeayaPaper.air file, after having installed the runtime, does not launch the application installer (this happens on some older distributions), you might have to log out and log back in.
