Peaya is created to make your academic life easier. As a student, a postdoc, or a professor, you are intelligent, creative and hard-working, and you chose academia as your profession with a noble goal: make big discoveries and benefit the human being. But reality is often disappointing: your salary is barely enough to pay your rent, your manuscript is criticized by mean reviewers, job is hard to find and you have to spend one more year as a postdoc, you waste an entire day simply to make a computer program work, you keep writing grants but keep being rejected …

We, as postdocs/students ourselves, are experiencing the exact same pain you are. So we spent a lot of time in creating this website and developing software tools to make your life easier. We want you to spend more time on important things such as generating ingenious ideas, and free your mind from trivial but often annoying jobs such as organizing your PDFs and citations.
