Trouble Shooting

During launching, Peaya Paper gets stuck on the splash screen and "initializing..." forever.
It's likely that Peaya Paper can't write encrypted data to your computer. Try to delete the encrypted local files by the following procedure:
Windows XP: go to folder C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Application Data\Adobe\AIR\ELS\, delete folder called peaya.paper.xxx (Some folders may be hidden by default. You may need to unhide them first. To unhide, Click the View tab under Explorer, click Show hidden files and folders, unclick Hide protected operating system files)
Windows Vista/7: go to folder C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\AIR\ELS\, delete folder called peaya.paper.xxx
Mac OS: Open Finder, Under Places, click on your Home directory, go to Library > Application Support > Adobe > AIR > ELS. delete folder called peaya.paper.xxx
Linux: go to folder ~/.appdata/Adobe/AIR/ELS/, delete folder called peaya.paper.xxx
There are something weird with my data and I suspect that my data is corrupted.
Quit Peaya Paper first. Then locate file PEAYA.db (which is by default located in the Peaya folder under your document directory if you did not change the database location). Delete Peaya.db. Then restart Peaya Paper. Peaya Paper will rebuild your library based on the copy on the server. It may take more time to start at this time because Peaya Paper needs to download all your papers to this computer.
